Accoyo Baron (Herdsire of the Century), (StudMaster) Bruxo, MacGyver (4-Time Herdsire of the Year), Captain Morgan (2-Time Reserve Herdsire of the Year), 2P Inca (Light Herdsire of the Year), Accoyo Belmonte/Jackpot, Torbio, Mahogany Prince, Fuego, Cantano/Meteor, Gunsmoke/Condor, 6Peruvian Silver King, Peruvian Graycliff Jax, 4P Miguel, Pperuvian Juan, Pperuvian Angel, Peruvian Aureo, 4P Renzo, Accoyo Abel, Pperuvian Miquel, Empresario, Lumino... We deliberately sourced reknowned proven genetics in building our foundation stock of quality suri dams and herdsires. Males and females are ribbon-winning and champion quality in luster, handle, fineness, lock structure, density, coverage, conformation and temperament. Though not a large farm, we are proud to offer one of the most outstanding selections of herdsires available. They are all multi-champions out of reknowned and proven genetics you all recognize: premier herdsires very discriminately chosen to continue to improve the quality of the next generation. We breed for genetic diversity and to improve the pure suri market without preference for country of origin: our stock is Peruvian, Bolivian, Chilean, and Accoyo; and we breed for all colors from whites to fawns, browns, blacks and greys. We seek to breed for excellence in true suri phenotype and to offer beautiful suris of very fine quality to this industry we love - for this lifestyle we treasure.

The quality of our award-winning herd competes with the best large farms out there:

Seven Color Championships
Eight Reserve Championships
Nineteen 1st Place Ribbons
Fourteen 2nd Place Ribbons
Five 3rd Place Ribbons
One 4th Place Ribbon
Three 5th Place Ribbons
Three 6th Place Ribbons

At Level III, IV, and V shows.

We believe in giving back to this industry that gives us so much and are participants in these associations:

Searching for a business we could start while both working, something we could enjoy doing together, grow and then semi-retire to - we found it much to our surprise in alpacas! It has become a joy and a passion. Alpacas fill the empty nest providing mom with something to nurture as our youngest goes off to college soon. It suits us as we both love the outdoors, both love animals (we also have 4 dogs and 2 cats), and enjoy working with our hands as well as our minds. It has even worked its magic on our oldest son Jeremy, who after graduating college has come back home to become our full-time Farm Manager, and we couldn't be more pleased. Raising, breeding and boarding alpacas is undeniably rewarding, but the intrinsic satisfaction of its lifestyle we find to be our greatest reward. There is nothing so beautiful as the luster of a suri's fleece in the pasture, how their fluid locks shimmer and flow so beautifully when they run. It is impossible no matter how hurried and busy your day, not to feel serene when you gaze at your herd in the field - and not to just stop! and live in the moment. And it is impossible not to feel your heart leap for joy as you watch your alpacas pronk in the evening seemingly in a joyous ode to the day. We feel blessed to be raising these docile, gentle, beautiful creatures and to be part of this wonderful industry.

Please call us and schedule a visit to our beautiful farm and to meet the gentle alpacas of Andean Vista Ranch.
